What is Tamoxife Citrate ? 

Tamoxifen citrate is a drug mainly used in the treatment of breast cancer. It is an anti-estrogenic drug, which means it works by blocking estrogen receptors in estrogen-sensitive tissues, including breast cancer cells.

Tamoxifen citrate is often prescribed for women diagnosed with breast cancer, especially in the early or advanced stages of the disease. It can also be used to prevent the recurrence of breast cancer in women at high risk.

This drug may have other uses, such as treating gynecomastia (excessive breast growth in men) and treating infertility in women.

For what is used tamoxifen in bodybuilding ?

Tamoxifen citrate is sometimes used in bodybuilding and performance sports involving the use of anabolic steroids for several reasons:

1. Prevention of gynecomastia: One of the common side effects of using certain anabolic steroids is gynecomastia, i.e. excessive breast growth in men. Tamoxifen citrate acts as an antiestrogen and blocks estrogen receptors in estrogen-sensitive tissues, including the breast, reducing the risk of gynecomastia.
